A test to verify the product matches its label and identifies the active ingredients through comparison.
Visual Appearance
Product sample undergoes evaluation of appearance, based on comparison with an accepted standard.
Yeast and Mold Count
A test identify and count existing microorganisms. The lower the count the cleaner the product.
Heavy Metals
A test to identify any metallic impurities. Cannot exceed amounts specified by governing bodies.
Scent
Product sample aroma is compared to an accepted standard.
Coliform / E. Coli / Salmonella
Tests to detect and count the number of bacteria within the sample.
